Your coat is one of the first parts of your outfit that people will see in winter. When you arrive at work, go to grab a coffee with a friend, or meet the girls for a glass of fizz in the evening, your coat should say ‘this is me’ and ‘this is how I’m feeling’. I have about 20 coats, which is not many compared to my fellow Fusspott ladies, but I love each one because it reflects my bubbly personality in some way. Like the other day, I was in London for a meeting, and I reached for my favourite bright pink coat when I was getting ready. But it wasn’t cold enough to wear it, so I went for my leopard-print mac instead (accessorising it with an Hermes scarf knotted round my Louis Vuitton handbag). My collection of coats is unique to me and means that I can wear a jacket that’s perfect for my mood every day.
